About Me

My name is Kate Ellen, and I am interested in helping students of all ages to better their education.

While attending Amador Valley High School in Pleasanton, California I was enrolled in AP Creative Writing and AP Art History. I was a part of the Environmental Club, Mr. Fuller's Teacher’s Assistant, a Junior Year Cheerleader, and was part of the Spirit Squad my Senior Year. I participated in Drawing, Art, Painting, and Choir. I also volunteered for E - Soccer for more than five years; it is a program through the Bay Area Christian Church that teaches soccer, and other physical activities, to children with special needs.

I have already achieved an Associate of Arts in Teaching Education – All Level Degree from Midland College. I majored in Education, minored in English, and continued my passion for Art and its History. I received my degree August 2014, and continued to further my education at UTPB.

I am currently a Senior Student attending The University of Texas Permian Basin, and I will be enrolling in the master’s program as soon as I am done with my last graduate courses. At the moment I major in English, and minor in Art History; I am still debating whether to get my Bachelor Degree first or to simply continue to my Master Degree. I am still entry level when it comes to my Educational Career; however, my achievements include: being quoted by Professor Richardson of UTPB in his research and dedication to Emerson, I am putting in my admissions for a publication released in October, and I am always looking for new opportunities to shine. Whether it is Reading or Writing, I am open to tutoring you or your student in focusing on the following subjects:

English, Literature, Art History, Humanities, Creative Writing, Papers, Test Preparation, Grammar, Spelling and Vocabulary.
